Mythos Productions began in 1999, when writer-director-producer team Tina Cardinale and Christopher Burns sought to combine their mutual need for storytelling with their many diverse passions to form what they hoped would be an innovative new production company.

Ardently dedicated to the creation of high quality entertainment, Tina and Christopher have been involved in the entertainment industry for more than twenty-five years. 

Tina was born in Los Angeles to theatre parents and pursued a professional dance career from the age of 3 while, also, working behind the scenes with her parents. She has danced on stage with her own company as well as in videos and movies. 

Chris, a natural born writer, is a native of Las Vegas and developed his writing and musical talents with the encouragement of his parents before heading for L.A. at the age of 17 to attend Musicians Institute and develop a career in the professional world of music. 

They both share the insatiable drive to use both sides of their brains and have been down many other paths as well. 

Tina entered college at the age of 16 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Biology hoping to move on to a Ph.D., but four years later realized her passion to communicate through the arts was the path she must take.  After severe back problems cut her dance career short, she fed her desire to become a film director with years of gaining knowledge in the fields of psychology, literature, and film production as well as developing her skills as a writer. 

Chris, after leaving music at the calling of his more scientific self, was well on his way to a degree in theoretical physics when he decided to pursue a career in software architecture. All the while, however, he kept his artistic passions alive by working on an anthology of fantasy novels which he intended to produce and direct as movies at some point. 

Tina and Chris met in a medieval re-creation society they had joined to explore another common interest, medieval history and art.  Shortly thereafter they knew their destiny was to combine their varied knowledge, interests and talents to build a company where they would create an array of art in the form of books, music, theatre and film, finally fulfilling their passion and vision for storytelling. 

The culmination of all this has resulted in the creation of Mythos Productions, which has put forth 4 films, 23 theatrical productions, 3 children’s books, and several music videos, to date.
